Many reasons to be thankful

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! As we get ready for our day, I just wanted to pause a moment and think about what I am thankful for and be grateful for our many blessings.

I am especially thankful for this little miracle who came into our lives almost 11 months ago. Words cannot express what a joy she is for us. Every day is amazing with her. We are completely, 100% in love with her, and no matter what is going on, she can always bring a smile to our faces. Last night, Annabelle started doing somersaults with Chris...amazing. This is just an example of how she amazes us every day. We love you so very much, Annabelle.

I am also thankful for Annabelle's amazing father and my wonderful husband, Chris. I love watching you be a dad to our little girl. You are so great with her, and it warms my heart to see the love you have for her in your eyes. This is by far my favorite phase of our 13 years together!

I am also thankful for our families. You have all been wonderfully supportive and helpful these past 11 months, and Annabelle loves spending time with all of you. Thank you for loving our little girl so much!

New tricks

Annabelle is constantly learning new "tricks." She's like a sponge and loves to please people, so she's always trying to imitate whatever we teach her that makes us laugh. One of her newest tricks is spinning (well, baby spinning) in a circle and clapping. Here is a short video of her doing it!

A wonderful week

Annabelle had a very exciting and fun-filled week. We are getting out more and more. She actually seems disappointed and bored when we stay at home for very long!

Besides going to Gymboree twice this week, Annabelle went on two playdates with babies her age, she met Santa Claus at the mall, she went to a kids' concert, she went hiking, went to parks to swing, etc!

Annabelle is getting more and more affectionate to everyone. She sneaks in some kisses for mom and dad sometimes, and of course, kissed every baby (real and the ones in her books) she sees.

Her crawling is getting a lot faster. At Gymboree, she was chasing some of the faster babies because she wanted to steal their nametags off their backs. It was adorable! When she finally caught one, she kissed her on the face and then proceeded to knock her over and try to climb on top of her to smother her in kisses.

We think a seventh tooth has poked through her top gums. It's hard to see though!

Our little crawler!
